HYDROFIL® Activated carbon cartridge filter for dechlorination of drinking, process or borehole water

Our filter series AKF are used for preliminary treatment of the drinking water in reverse osmosis systems. Free chlorine reacts with the surface of the filter material and is reduced to chloride while unwanted organic compounds are bound to the activated carbon. The filter cartridges have to be replaced in case of exhaustion of the filter material caused by harmful substances.
